Cilji in kompetence: Učna enota prispeva predvsem k razvoju naslednjih splošnih in specifičnih kompetenc: povezovanje znanja interdisciplinarnih strokovnih področij, osvajanje novega znanja na področju holistične in k pacientu usmerjene zdravstvene in socialne oskrbe, prepoznavanje najpogostejših zdravstvenih in socialnih problemov, ki jih prinašajo kronične bolezni medpoklicno sodelovanje pri izvajanju integrirane in kontinuirane oskrbe na področju skrbi za zdravje, kakovost življenja in dobro počutje pacientov v instituciji ali na domu, kakovostno komuniciranje v negovalnem, zdravstvenem in multiprofesionalnem timu, razvoj in vzdrževanje dobrih medsebojnih odnosov med zaposlenimi, pacienti, njihovimi družinami, skupinami in skupnostjo. Objectives and competences: The learning unit mainly contributes to the development of the following general and specific competences: integration knowledge of interdisciplinary fields of expertise, the conquest of new knowledge in the field of holistic and patient-oriented health and social care, identification of the most common health and social problems posed by chronic diseases interprofessional collaboration in the implementation of an integrated and continuous care in the field of health care, quality of life and well-being of patients in an institution or at home quality communication in nursing, healthcare and multi-professional team, developing and maintaining good relations between employees, patients, their families, and community groups, Predvideni študijski rezultati: Študent/študentka: pozna patofiziološke spremembe, ki vplivajo na farmakokinetični in fakmakodinamski odziv na zdravila pri starostnikih razume prilagojene načine zdravljenja kroničnih bolezni starostnikov se usposobi za vrednotenje starostnikovega zdravstvenega stanja in za nadzor nad pravilnim jemanjem zdravil starostnikov na domu ali v instituciji Intended learning outcomes: Knowledge and understanding: Students: knows the pathophysiological changes that affect the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodinamic response to medications in the elderly understands customized methods of treatment chronic diseases of the elderly develops skills for evaluation of the elderly health monitoring and oversight of the proper administration of medications for older people at home or in an institution Metode poučevanja in učenja: predavanja z aktivno udeležbo študentov (razlaga, diskusija, vprašanja, primeri, reševanje problemov), vaje: priprava, predstavitev in uspešen zagovor projektne/raziskovalne naloge Learning and teaching methods: lectures with active student participation (explanation, discussion, questions, examples, problem solving); tutorial: preparation, presentation and a successful defence of a project paper 3
